So, now that it seems that PA is trying to sell a dark skin for the Xtressor as if it was a brand new plugin... I think the original wasn't mentioned here and it's a nice compressor, actually. The whole thing with the saturation and the warmth knobs, and the two extra distortion buttons, and the British mode... if I really had to buy 10 PA plugins, it would definitely be among them.

 

Well if they are cloning a plugin and the plugin doesn't act like the clone.. kinda makes it pointless to call it a pultec.. right?.. granted does it make the plugin bad? Yes and no.. when I purchase a pultec I want the curves and the saturation.. if either are missing its not a pultec .. see how that works?
