    To my past experience, the best one was always the next one.
    So to be able to repeat processes, I just continue keeping the last one.

    This decision really made things way more easy. :yes:

    It means it pitches the sound as soon as you use a SR higher than 48kHz.

    Since you've mentioned UAD, I don't use other than their LA-2A's because they ARE the best emulation of their own hardware.
    Updated LA-2A collection is just awesome, but I use legacy one just as much. And they are native now ;)

    I guess I have to wait for these to go on sale now hah. I have the Black Rooster ones, which were good, but they are seriously lagging when it comes to VST3 and Im a Cubase user on an ARM Mac now. I picked up UAD's 1176 collection for $40 last week and they are like magic compared to the rest of them. I'm guessing the LA collection is the same.. Those are the only Waves plugs left I haven't found replacements for..

    Anyone used IK Multimedia White 2A Leveling Amplifier for comparison with others? It is in TrackS which I do not have installed.

    I've tried a few, the UAD is by far the best from the ones I've tried. As others have mentioned, the Opticom doesn't sound anything like an LA2a. It's more like an LA2a's meth addict neighbor up the street. Both are great plugins.

    The extra vintage sounding LA-2 is my favorite of the UAD versions.

    UAD seems to be having some kind of sale right now that includes the LA2A series. $119 gets you all this native stuff in a bundle, unless I'm misunderstanding the sale...???

    As i use LA-2A mostly for distortion rather than compression my favorite is the Overloud one because it has the saturation knob. Black Rooster sounds amazing and Neold also. But i'm not that much into LA-2A
