For Example, when i produce a Sample based Beat and i want to add a Bassline, i take Massive X or Sublab for the 808 .

In some cases i dont know in which Octave i should play the Bass Notes, sometimes i think that Bass is to high, and sometimes it´s to deep for "normal music system" .

Do you Guys Layer your Basses ?
For the Low´s take an 808 with a Lowpass and for the higher Basses Trilian or Bass Guitar and hi Pass, i think you know what i mean.

Here is an Example, which Version would you pick ? :

I mean this question in itself... it doesn't matter what octave, it's what sounds best. Literally. If u have decent monitors or actually decent headphones, listen. Too deep is below 30hz for the most part, DEEP is a good D (pitches love the D!). Music nowadays ain't scared of deep bass, and even if u can't hear it well, maybe it's better to feel it. Also, the style of music kinda tells u how deep things can be. Cinematic scores can get pretty deep, along with almost all electronic genres, trap, and rap. If ur making country, don't think it's that much of importance, but hey, be a pioneer. The world needs more bass. But if ur layering basses, don't let the frequencies conflict. or double up.
