If you don't need a laptop, and don't want to deal with the hackintosh idea... Buy any Mac Pro 4.1..
Both SP and MP are pretty cheap...and upgradable....
Eg... I own a 4.1 QC 2.66 with 8 gig ram that I use for music production.. They can go for around $300...
I Firmware upgraded to a 5.1 , Dropped in a Hex core 3.46 (approx $187 US), then 32 GB of ECC 1333 ram for $80 us..
512SSD for OS in the second optical bay,(4 x 2Tb SATA for sample Libraries, A Inatek KT4004 4 port USB 3 card ($30) A GB 6870 OC Pc card (Flashed for mac EFI, Running 3 Monitors) (FWIW a TITAN X in the video machine) and it runs everything in logic I throw at it !
Unlike Hackintosh's , No issues with modified Kext files, Motherboard/audio/Ethernet compatibility.. Can Update OS's incrementally without hacks...
It just works...
And I can boot into Win 10 for gaming...

EDIT: To add.. Whats with the El Capitan Hate?
ElCapitan in the best OS since snow leopard for me... YMMV....
Ones things for sure, as for the last few iterations of OSX, an SSD is a must.
