I really like this song, the guitar is emotional as hell and if that has a lot to do with the melody i'd like to know how to get that specific guitar tone.

Anybody here knows what kind of guitar (real of vst) can achieve this sound ?

Damn i just woke up.... here a link

    @ Phenomboy,

:wow: I've always learned that the 'Hell' was rather dark, burning, dismal,... but times change, isn't ?

for todays drag&drop "producers" its really hard to believe that someone can play real instruments. yes, its a strat with a delay/reverb.

If it's emotional, it's probably played with a real guitar. How can a VSTi/Library be emotional?
Unless you mean the scale/phrasing/dynamics/timing/expressiveness/reverb/delay creates "emotion", but then we are talking in matters of personal taste/reference/preference/sound memory/mood/vibe/etc.

I agree with the single coil/reverb & echo but I also detect some chorus in there.

Yep a strat or Telecaster, i think more of the Dealy iis being the emotional part for ya rather then the guitar itself and of course the picking, strumming
just a some keyboard.piano songs have that hint of delay on them really making the song pronuoced

The guitar is quite good and emotional, though repetitive.

The problem is the rest of the stuff added :bleh:

You are right, I'm holding now my acoustic guitar (was playing a little bit just for fun) and you know what, no usb/latency/plugin output/DAW configuration problems at all

    @ Zeus,

As long that the 'human touch' will be present, you'll get a 'Latency' (even if it can be very small in some cases !). This 'Human Latency' is induced either by your fingers or plectrum and... your guitar strings.

Nevertheless, you can find some 'extrasupamegafreaky' worldwide renowned Guitar Players that have drastically reduced that 'natural' latency...

That mix is really bad... But, yeah, I thought pretty much the same things others said about the tone of the guitar.

But you can always use a single-coil, plucked synth if you're feeling creative. :bleh: Here's an example I made for you:
