    In terms of bang for your buck? The M1 Macbook Air and most likely the upcoming M2 or whatever they put out. However.. Your choice of plug-ins is more limited due to many of them still not running natively (not sure if Rosetta works well with plug-ins) and it's even more limited if you're going the cracked route.

    The Gigabyte A5 X1 with the Ryzen 5900HX seems to have adequate cooling but you're paying quite a bit for a gaming laptop you're probably not gonna game on.
