I am a newbie and am willing to buy a DJ controller. I have read an article about the Best DJ Controller for beginners, but I am confused between Numark and Hercules. Can someone guide me, which is the best of these two?

That's a weird question: due to covid, now all the dj's are looking for a different job: you are going completely against the trend. Who knows, maybe the clubs will never reopen, dance music will become useless.
I live in a turistic area and I'm starting to notice this type of signs into public activities (tiki bars, pubs, sport bars etc)

Yeah, it's possible that that 2021 will be ruined, too. This winter will be rough for sure.

said a funny guy who thinks that people don't listen to electronic music at home. Dude, do you really think that electronic music is all about dancing at bars, pubs?

Your point is not clear: that type of devices are tools for dj’s: why do you ever need a dj controller to play music at home?

honestly dont get some cheapo controller like hercules, inexpensive solution would be allen&heath k2, you can use it standalone and if you desire to upgrade you buy a mixer and you got everything to control prettymuch all functions in traktor + mix externally

edit: thats for playing dance music, if you want to scratch or sth i have no clue

A DJ friend of mine swears by Traktor Scratch, he said that were he go all digital he'd get one of the Traktor Kontrols. So those might be worth your while to look at as well.

Copyright rules on platforms are strictly enforced: now, any stream containing copyrighted material will lead to an "stream aborted" message by website. the only platform that still accept published material is twitch (and only for live streaming), in any case the recorded clip will be deleted
it is a hard time for DJ's now

Plenty of net radio stations that are not twitch, thankfully.

I thought you were talking about audio+video streaming. In any case, be careful: you need copyright clearance (usually an annual fee) even to broadcast a webradio, especially if you want to stream it to important portals such as tunein or similar.

I'd recommend a Pioneer DDJ400, it's basically a copy of a basic industry standard setup (pioneer decks+mixer) + rekordbox so then later when you invite mates to play, they just plug in a usb, rather than trying to figure out how to drag and drop rekordbox into traktor/serato etc.

Yup, If you need something more affordable consider a DDJ-200 it has all basic features and much more portable. If you prefer something more advanced try DDJ-FLX6 which has 4 channels and full sized jog wheels.

Two vinyl-plate-players and a mixer.

Always go to the beginning of stuff you want to learn to do. Just my humble 2p.

p.s. I can't understand people who are using plattenspielers these days. They must be missing a part of the brain that deals with reasoning.
