Allow me to repost this:

During my absence there was a thread "why are all the interesting people leaving? .. the place is so vanilla" or words to that effect. I'm known to embellish so forgive me if I'm wrong.
I could have just ticked the box marked "Logic" and frankly who cares? A little bit of subversive content makes a thread, hopefully a bit light hearted and entertaining. If the disdain for satire offends pharaoh41 and his views are representative of many then this is indeed a sad, humorless, dull community. We are musicians. We are creative. If I express myself in a creative way it should not be denigrated. It should be seen for what it is, a way of expressing my own personality and should we censor and suppress individuals rights to just be themselves? This is why good members leave. I don't want to leave again.

So, if my characteristics are not in alignment with the community, I will not contribute any further. Olymoon understood my intentions to inject some light hearted observations into this forum and approved of my linguistic style.
If you think I'm a troll after so many years of contribution, then I am very sad that this is what the site has become.

 

Cubase since many years but i won't say that it is best daw, i just used to use it and i like its workflow.

There is no best DAW in the industry.

There is a musician/producer/engineer who uses DAW very well.

DAW never makes you a great musician/producer/engineer, you make DAW great and usefull for work in audio production if you know how to use it very well

 

Renoise is awesome. There's even an octalyzer skin out there. That makes it look like my first love :D

I can see you are using win10, thunderbolt adapters, card, and a presonus thunderbolt interface.
I would like to ask you if your audio interface is running flawlessly under win10.
Are the drivers good/very good/excellent?

Some users will want to fire a missile over my head, because what I'm going to say but, back in the days, anything firewire/thunderbolt, would often have a ton of issues, under windows.
also, often, users complain about the presonus drivers. (Yes, other users also complain about other manufacturers. ..).

that's why I'm curious to know how the presonus-windows-thunderbolt mix is performing.
The new presonus interfaces revealed during the last namm, really caught my attention.

That's me my friend. I'm still tooloud.... I just found the volume control and I'm not so loud now.

 

I use Logic Pro with the X added because it is good to make music. The X is why I use it. Please note: I am not trying to make a joke. Jokes get me into trouble and I am not a funny person.
