i have sonarworks sound id 5 installed for a while now. today when i fired up cubase pro 13 i get "new audio drivers found" splashbox on screen.
i can choose ASIO Saffire or sonarworks ASIO Driver(ASIO Saffire)
this box has not came up previously.
should i choose ASIO Saffire( i have saffire pro 24 interface) or sonarworks ASIO driver?
    thanks

you should always use the driver from the audio interface company. In your case install Saffire Mix Control 3.7 - Windows and use that driver

Think it's the case if you want to use Sonarworks system wide or not, I have the same option for Realphones, it's using my main interface, but in my case Realphones only work with headphones, so I use it as a plugin when I use headphones only. But if you are doing speakers correction, you can use it straight away, it's still using your Saffire driver.

If you are using only headphones, you can pick Sonarworks wide version of driver, if not, than it will affect your speakers too, so yeah.

it dosent say sonarworks wide it says exactly like this sonarworks ASIO Driver(ASIO Saffire)
ive chosen sonarworks ASIO Driver(ASIO Saffire) anyway, see how goes.
just was strange that it came up for first time today even though have had installed as vst for over a year.

It's probably the same thing, it's using your Saffire ASIO driver, just like Realphones is my Apogee one, I can change that in preferences anyway, probably you can too, really don't know Sonarworks that good.
