    Hey guys, hows it going?

Anybody know any good places to find track stems for electronic music?
I've tried searching google but I have a hard time finding certain tracks.

I'm also looking for MIDI as well, I have plenty of large MIDI packs but many of them are from older releases.
I use http://www.nonstop2k.com/ but that site is limited in how much you can downloaded & lots of the tracks are for premium members.

Would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

"deejay" portal is good for acapellas.

full track stems are hard because it's not like every artist/engineer/producer are just gonna give their stems away ;)

most online come from games like rockband etc...

Some karaoke sites do multitrack. I don't know if they're official, or remake + acapella, but they're good enough that if you're gonna be doing a lot of your own thing with them it won't matter.

I've been looking for older to more modern Rock type stems from various artists. I've had moderate luck but I'm still unsatisfied. I've seen the Rock Band stuff, but alot of it is kinda crappy. The stems aren't really spread out. Meaning like, Bass, Drums, Guitars, Lead Guitar, Vocals, type stuff. To me that is more fun to play with. Also alot of times the Rock Band stuff has been difficult for me to download once I have found it. Too bad because the selection of artists in those things are pretty good, in my opinion. I'm not attempting to make any dough off the things. Its just really freakin' fun to hear them and screw around with 'em.

Interesting question which I asked myself a little while ago. The fun part is, Google actually DOES have the answers but you need to spend some time with it.

Like someone already said, you can't find every track you want, that's not real. But here are some tips:
    http://www.geerdes.com > midi
http://www.songgalaxy.com > multitracks (not original but recreated, same for a capella's, but useful)
http://play.beatport.com / http://www.remixcomps.com / http://findremix.com > just like other contest pages the artists mostly share their multitracks or parts from it, just keep an eye on them from time to time
On Youtube lots of "producers" share remakes or templates from released tracks, although it's more an inspiration thing, it could work sometimes.
And again .. search Google and use words like midi, multitrack, stems, remix competition, remake, karaoke etc.

By the way, I'm also familiar with http://www.nonstop2k.com (not the premium part though) .. if you're searching for (mostly) short edits it will be helpful but bare in mind that most stuff is uploaded by everyone, same with Youtube, so quality is not always guaranteed.

Maybe it won't satisfy you completely - it looks like a puzzle sometimes - but on the other hand .. what does

yeah rickbarrett I know stems are usually hard to get as artists don't want to give them away, and but they are very useful *yes*

    d-music I'm glad I'm not alone! hahaha

great links  thanks! remixcomps.com seems to have some good ones.

Some of those links are paid though, right?

I know I'm not going to be able to get everything shit (i wish),
I was just seeing if anybody had any good sources.

thanks for the links though guys
