For legit stuff: Bandcamp and Bleep, on the occasion directly from the label, like Kompakt-mp3

A couple of folks commented that they will not - or cannot - pay anymore. Interestingly a lot of consumers feel the same way - there's an increasing number of 'never-payers' and most listeners rank having a free option as a priority ... plus free is a significant growth area in streaming.

I downloaded shamelessly from now taken down websites and have a great collection of progressive thinking and acid influenced rock and electronic from the 70's.
All the stuff I grew up with and tripped out to is on a USB stick.
I also have a collection of remastered CD's of outside music.
The rest I listen to on Youtube with Adblock shutting out shit :)

I think they purposefully make a wrong assumption.
"Consumers who are "Never Payers" who are interested in Music Services, but not willing to pay" - all these "never payers" aren't interested in Music Services, they are interested in "Music". - not "music services"
Using this little semantic trick to try to influence your thinking is deceptive, one must consider the source to be attempting to influence, rather than objectively report reality.
