Where is the right place to make requests? directly in the subject forum? is there any rules for making a request?

Hello Daniel, welcome amongs us.
Actually pretty simple rule : no request allowed. Requests for warez, samples and all that should be done directly on the sister site, AudioZ, in the request section. It seems what you want is a repost and I don't know where you should proceed with that, except I'm sure it's not here.
Maybe you can hit the poster with a PM ?

 

Very simple, at sister site, write something saying that the links are dead as comment.

I should admit that I'm among those who barely cast a glance over the requests on the sister site. Maybe I'm antisocial eh?

On the other hand, if someone were to post an advisory notice here on AS that the person has authored a request on the sister site, would that be regarded as something quite within the rules of AS, or is it also regarded as transgression?

 

Oly I never thought to ask this before, but is there a qualifying period to post a link or request on the sister site? Or can anyone do it?
I have not thought about it until now. Creating a whole post with pictures and information, only to be told there is no permission or they don't qualify would not be enjoyable for anyone if that occurred.

 

For repost, simply write a comment saying "links are dead, please reup" we scan for these phrases and do our best to solve dead posts.

For request, simply post your request as any post, but select the request section.

Basic rules for requests are:
You cant request something that is freshly published (less than 15 days), or not yet published, only announced.

Some devs ask their material not to be mentioned even as request.

You answered yourself to your question:
You know that the request section exist, so simply have a look at it now and then..
Why would we double this info here at AS?

You even have this square at the right of the screen with last requests...
