iam wondering where to get this sound for over a decade now.
its some kind of steel drum sound (haha i hope this helps you to id it in the song lol), it comes around 0:42 the first time and then over and over.
linkin park - numb uses the same sound.

Piano tail layered with full keytracked narrow bandpass filtered noise. Add fast Sn'H LFO on pitch to make it warbly/flutter/degraded.

If you are using Logic, try Sculpture synth with a fast pitch modulation from modulator midi fx on top.

hmmm, I've done this sound a couple times before using RM. It sounds very ringy and Im sure is very possible with a simple subtractive synth with rm enabled :)

I've never said anything, but dude I have to give it to you. I'm always amazed at how you are able to break down sounds so easily. Very impressive. I'm only four years into music production, and have no idea how you do it, but I have to say you have a unique gift/ear!
