You can do, but I think you may need to re-record it at the higher res. I've never done this, but in my head at least, I imagine the beats will still fall exactly where you put them in the first place, and they will just be sitting in a place that has the potential for more smaller places, if you know what I mean? Might sound like I just contradicted myself, but I haven't. Changing the res after the fact may or may not sound different. But recording at higher res will.

Hmm. Well this would seem to be linked to the fact that we said earlier: FL doesn't like changing the res of a project after you had started it at a different res...
Which is why I say to open a new project at 960 and either start again or import/drag in the MIDI from the first version.
Only then will we be able to tell, I think.

Also, don't worry. Because every other part apart from the bass sounds fine. Which I guess proves that 96 isn't unusable for those simple divisions of the kick, snare, hats etc.
It was just the bass that threw me. I like it apart from that, and we may be reading too much into this!

 

I just erased then replaced all the drums, im exporting it so you can hear how it actually sounds with the track, and if changing the res have changed something, I expect that isnt my samples lmao
