The only thing I found that COULD work for you is this (already seen from @Garamondo Furbish post):

I guess the easiest way would be to have a new cable usb a male to usb a female for example and then get some adapters for the devices. I don't even know if you can use the usb b female to usb c adapter in the direction you want to use it. Some Usb cables have a direction in which they work and you can't use them in reverse as far as I know. With usb c that should not be a problem anymore, but I don't know if it will work if you go from usb - b to usb c. The cable that they found is a USB C to Type B cable and that might not be the same as a USB B to USB c cable.

 

you have a normal cable for a synth, right? It's the same port on the back of every synth. You can use the cable you already have and get an adapter for the usb-a to usb-c.

you only need the one adapter. I have to do this when I connect any of my synths directly to my laptop, because it is just thunderbolt 3 (usb-c 3). If it wasn't being used for synths I would just go through my hub. But it has to be direct.
