Note that the Proton free option, while great otherwise, only gives you their Swiss endpoints. As of such the captcha receives a lot of requests from them and start suspecting bots.

This means having to repeat the captchas or be given a flat out slow service and eventually refusal.

 

I don't have issues with captchas really. It's usually 1-2-3 and done with those idiot things - about 20-30 seconds MAX. It's the "service's" themselves that are actually the real blocking issue.

However, I do completely agree with you about google being a total piece of shit.

 

I cannot do a download from Rapidgator without an insurance ad or some other bullshit blocking my download. I use Nord VPN from various
US locations. It never stops and I don't think it ever will.

I disabled JavaScript in my browser to get around the problem, and I've not experienced any negative effects since disabling it. The peeplink captchas with images are no longer a problem for me, because they no longer appear.

Ironically, the captchas with images are created using AI, so essentially we have AI asking us if we're human.

 

Had the same issue with Google. So I did some research and downloaded Vivaldi Browser along with Buster:Captcha Solver for Humans Extension and my Google days were so over.

I use various DNS services like Cloudflare or even own recursive DNS server, but doesn't make any difference

 

I rarely see captchas and I never see advertisements. But I do run a battalion of blockers in my browser. Starting with uBlock Origin and Cookie Autodelete. The Buster Captcha solver never worked for me. I seem to recall they wanted me to buy tokens or some such?

 

Pony Up for Debrid or a premium service and stop bitching. Free Service means putting up with it. Next....

captchas are bad enough but when they use tiny and/or blurred pictures that are so small or blurry you can't even make anything out at all, or the ones that use too many multiple Captchas one after another is totally ridiculous there should be laws against this, Captchas are a form of harassment and need to be completely eliminated by law.

This isn't the end. Maybe, in the near future they will introduce captchas that will easily take a few minutes to a few hours to solve.

 

The recaptcha is you training image recognition models. The image is picked by an image recognition algorithm being told to find all "traffic lights" etc. so it picks some. Then by some average it's passed on to the model builder. Because the algorithm is already pretty finely trained it's just small tweaks at this point, but it can also tell if the user is fucking up. So only some of it ends up as training data.

It's basically machines talking to machines. You're almost an unnecessary cog in the whole system, but that's what it is.

 

"Prove that you're human so I can be human."

 

1. find a lawyer you can afford.
2. if said lawyer agrees to take on your case and not rob you while laughing all the way to the bank, make sure a suit is filed in court.
3. find a court that will be able to hear your case while not laughing their asses off.
4. serve a subpoena to google.
5. see google deploy an army of lawyers who will swamp you with paperwork and countersue you while they're ar it.
6. see if the court will set an actual date after google's army of lawyers requests delays and continuances so they can drain your funds, leaving you without a lawyer, and force you to drop the suit.
7. see your attempts to see if the aclu, the eff, or any non-profit will be very reluctant to take on this case.
8. watch as google does not drop that countersuit and force you to settle to pay up all their legal bills.
9. go bankrupt trying to avoid paying them.
10. watch you post the whole debacle.
