when rendering if you do other things on laptop is there a chance it will mess up the audio file?

    when rendering if you do other things on laptop same time is there a chance it will mess up the audio file?

    not in terms of its it gonna complete or not

    i mean any chance it introduces any clicks or something due to that or this can't happen?

    From my experience, no it doesn't screw up your render. I browse and listen to music on youtube while rendering and never ever noticed artifacts, clicks etc after rendering while doing that

    Yes the danger is definitely there. Please do not open another program or surf the Internet in addition.

    ATME, not. I've done different tasks while rendering 1x offline, full-speed offline, with and without conversion. Didn't produce more errors than when left alone.

    If you aren't bouncing and replacing (stemming) a large # bunch of channels, what are you doing that takes so long you can't just wait a minute or two? In the case of stemming, I will watch a video most of the time while it processes; and it never causes any audio problems.
