some questions i have

1) when did women start "wearing" nails? i mean....what decade

2) why does it look more "feminine" when they do so? if it does

3) why everything is fake?

 

people been painting their nails since like 3000 bc the chinese are credited with it but i'm sure other people did it before that too.

 

Yep, it's probably ancient Babylonia or something. Some neanderthal woman probably figured out a way to glue bone shards to her fingers.

Fake is really a negative term for enhanced and humans have been enhancing attributes from the beginning. It's all mating urges and catering to them.

 

I dunno, but the bible mentions cosmetics, and Egyptians were known to use it, so I'd imagine painted nails are as old.

I remember reading somewhere that long nails indicated that you didn't do manual work. Same with being tanned, which for a long time meant you worked in the fields. Wealthy women (and possibly men?) tried to avoid being tanned. Then, in the 60s, with the advent of jet travel, being tanned came to mean you could afford to fly somewhere warm in the winter. Not sure how true these things are, YMMV.

 

It is only my feeling and probably wrong but.
I think it all started when women started doing fake boobs in the 80s.
Later fake nails in the 90s.
Later fake eyelashes in the 00s.
Later permanent makeup in the 05s
Later Botox in the face in the 10s.
Later fake eyebrows in the 15s.
Later fake big lips in the 20s.

And now everything is fake.
Better to generate girl using AI. She will be more natural.

If a little girl paints them pink, it´s cute, you can love her .. if a emo-girl paints them black or blue, that´s cool, you can love her ... but if you see one with red ones, you can be sure it´s a slut ... the only thing you can get from her is syphilis ...

 

My mom paints her nails red. I better give her my meds for syphilis.

 

It's just an aesthetic thing, like any other coloured accessory. Sure some will paint their nails for special reasons but it's mostly that. And like any accessory it could be associated with femininty becasue of cultural reasons, like earings and such.

But women getting nails done is more like a decorative thing. It's not up to anyone to judge. In my culture's myths, getting long nails is part of weaponize themselves back to the matriarchal time.

 

Fake nails, boobs, brows, botox, big lips, tons of makeup, fitnAss ... Finally it all goes through fake Photoshop, Lightroom, filters, AI, beautiful assmaker warez, autobetterizing, titsgoodizers, iPhonizering, face remastering, flatskininzing, photoiZotopeRXing, assspectralayers etc..

It is like soundgoodizer and autotuned singers, but photo, not audio) all becomes ideal, perfect woooooow

Without all that described above - AI plastic dolls become usual natural washedaway girls. Naturalism is mostly better for me, than overdoing with face and body, all that overproduction and over-re-mastering.

 

In 1986, Devon Fitzgerald was a rising star in the world of archaeology. He and his students had made several remarkable fossil discoveries in the Arizona desert, helping kick off the dinosaur craze of the 1990s.

Taking advantage of a grant from an anonymous donor, Fitzgerald took his Arizona State University students back to the dried-up river bed where his career had begun. Almost immediately, Fitzgerald noticed a differently shaded spot and ordered digging to begin there.

The discovery that followed shocked not only Fitzgerald but also the archaeological community at large.

The dug-up spot revealed seven fossils arranged in a circle. All seven specimens faced inward, where at the centre an eighth fossil lay. Over the next two months, Fitzgerald and his students carefully excavated the site, eventually bringing the fossils and dozens of earth samples back to Arizona State University.

Sieving the earth samples revealed a large number of gemstones and digested plant matter around the central eighth fossil. Further analysis conclusively proved that the circle was formed by seven males while the eighth central fossil was female.

A close examination of the fossilised fragments of the female's claws revealed that it had caked its 'fingernails' in bright red sand.

Fitzgerald surmised that some 160 million years ago, the male dinosaurs had brought gemstones and plants to win the female's favour and that the female had put on 'makeup' by dipping its claws in red sand, possibly using the nearby river to help make the 'nail polish' stick. Fitzgerald hypothesised that the group had run out of food waiting for the female to choose a sexual suitor.

Fitzgerald decided to name the female 'Sluttosauria' and the seven males 'Simposaurii'.

Fitzgerald began presenting his findings at conferences around the country but was flatly rejected by the archaeological community despite the evidence supporting his theory on the evolution of sexualised cosmetic nail care. Frustrated, Fitzgerald wrote a book titled "Sluttosauria and the seven simps: 160 million years of thirst".

Today, the book can no longer be found and knowledge of Devon Fitzgerald has been suppressed by the government. Now deeply paranoid, Fitzgerald was last heard of in 1993 when he posted about a group of birds circling his cabin day and night on a dial-up BBS (big booty saurian) forum.

 

Not just women but before his demise David Crosby praised the new found freedom and expression that these new "BIONIC" nails were allowing him in his old age as his natural nails had become puffy and brittle with age.

Off the top of my head James Taylor, Tommy Emanuel, Peppino D’Agostino all wear fake nails.

The angry luddite shtick about lets go back to stone age and yarrrrr I am a manly man, not in the humor sense but in the angry short man driving a giant brodozer, isn't very manly it's just proof of small ability. Proof of that is found throughout ape societies and it is where the saying "Silverback don't care," comes from.

The first time I noticed these extreme loooong fingernails was Florence Griffith Joyner on the 1988 Olympics.
Of course, women painted their nails even earlier, but fingernails probably only became works of art back then.

Its a matter of taste. I don't like it either but others do. Why not?!

Its because we talk about it.
Would no one ever even say one single word about long fingernails or big boobs they would most likely disappear. Neither massive boobs nor extremely long nails are comfortable for women.

 

Hmm, I think that must have been around the time the Iron Maiden was invented.

 

We must avoid letting ourselves be used and talking about it making some people - with whom we have nothing to do with - become 'hype'.
I, for example, like the story of the dinosaurs written above, am only interested in those who give me their sweet cherry... the rest I don't talk about and they count for less than zero!
