You are right.
But the only reason I don't create my own real drums samples, is because I don't have the necessary tools.
I really enjoy creating my own sounds, so for electronic drums, as I can do it, I do it myself.

You know, it's a deep dark shame that Pigments isn't my main synth. It has everything I need except whenever I load it up in C12 on my laptop, my computer gives me the finger. Too bad. Pigment's many synthesis methods, it's arp/sequencer, extensive modulation options, yadda yadda is the cream of the crop.

That said, my maid squeeze is Thorn.
