xln is harvesting the samples for their other purposes? what we upload into this user cloud? no info on webite. what does EULA state? anyone with demo please read it and let us know thanks

 

i didnt see anything regarding harvesting the sample /other uses. Even if they are, i dont really care. They can use sounds of me farting, cooking dinner and walking in the forest as much as they would like.

The plugin is very cool. Highly recommend! Works very fast and flawlessly with the app. Unlimited interesting top loops. I made a classic neptunes type beat in minutes.

 

Well if you want an easy life and leave creative part to A.I. just ask ChatGPT to make you not only a beat but the whole song right off.

!!!!! Be aware you as user completely giveaway a non-exclusive copyright of your samples and MIDI files to XLN Audio AB, they can do whatever they want with it, even make their own drum kits for other instruments/products or use it in any free or commercially way.
They even state this is copyright is "irrevocable".!!!!!

• b) to the extent applicable and permittable under applicable law, you waive any so-called “moral rights” in relation to the license in paragraph 6(7) a) above;
• c) for the avoidance of doubt, paragraph 6(7) a) and b) above shall apply also to Created Music Work created by the Customer during the Trial Period, regardless of whether the Customer exercises its right to withdraw in accordance with paragraph 5 above.

Here is an archived capture of their TOS page from 29 October 2023 so they specifically changed that copyright thing on 01 December 2023 for the Life plugin (and coming softwares) to "legally" collect samples and MIDI including full non-exlucive copyright over these files uploaded to their server(s).
