I've created a feature request Poll in the Reaper Forum.

The topic: ReaPlugins UI: LAYOUT & ERGONOMICS
It is not about GUIs, but about the UI and the structural composition of the interface.

I think that with a few small interventions in the parameter placement
great ergonomic advantages can arise for our workflow!

True, but I've never seen that the lookahead sitting at a compressor in front of the envelope parameters. And that has very good reasons!

i think here a lot of reaper users....but they dont kno the thread yet...
damn that reaper DAW...thhey really want to listen what you say and no action here...
i have read so often that devs of other daw and vst's give a dam thing on what users want and say

 

Hmm ... I really would like to have more interaction.
Especially comments with feedback in the Reaperforum. That so little happened there is really a pity.
I guess it's either because the thread is skipped because of the name
(UI / GUI confusion was a discussion killer on Facebook... stupid drive-by posting mentality)
or it's not interesting enough for many out there. At least that's what the numbers tell me.

1,800 Views, 15 comments (without mine), 42 votes (64.29% pos, 14.29% neg, 21.43% uncommitted)

There is a lot of encouragement in some other forums (especially GER forums).
Most of them say they love it! (After I got them to read the thread. Again: UI / GUI confusion - drive-by mentality)
A few others say it doesn't benefit them... But it also doesn't hurt them, so it does not interest them.
I think the negative votes come mainly from FB users (relatively at the same time to the corresponding comment)

So yeah, I think this topic is really problematic to promote. Especially in the Reaper community. It's a pity!
