So I have been watching reviews for the following sample libraries on YouTube and I have not yet come to the conclusion which one tool should I use for hybrid orchestral trailer music production.What is your go to tool for scoring hybrid orchestral soundtracks?What should I buy if I have a 175$ budget?

I think the very basic requirements are
1.Melodic Pulse synth(Usually bases)
2.Risers(with time control)
3.Downers(with time control)
4.Impacts/hits

 

These are just transition fx. Whereas the 8Dio stuff has way more to it...

Your...'4.Impacts/Hits'...come with both Risers and Downers anyway.

You may want to try out 'Analogue Strings' by Output too, I dunno. Interesting hybrid pulse stuff.

Which one of the several 8dio Hybrid libraries to go with?

 

Everything from heavyocity and samplelogic and you're served.

 

Don't forget Hybrid Two's Project Alpha, Bravo and Chaos, fantastic tools for Hybrid Scoring

Edit: I don't know. You have too much restrictions. I do not know who should know which hybrid instrument in the range to 175$ is the best. They all do pretty much the same anyways.

It depends what base Orch libs you are using now? What are you using?

As pointed out, most of these are just hits, booms, risers etc. You have to be using them with something else.

Either way, NI Damge is almost a standard for hybrid stuff these days. Agree with Hybrid Two's Project Alpha.
Totally agree with SmoothGrooves and Output is excellent.

It is sadly, but it's one of the main used libraries for the genre. Wait for Black Friday 50%


What strings are you using? The 8DIO Opus only has Spiccato Strings.
