Any gamers here at all?

I've a gaming PC in same room as my music making environment so i can chill when I need to. I suck at gaming with keyboard and mouse though and looking for a good game pad. I know the logical choice would be the Xbox 360/One control pads, but I use Steam and Origin for gaming and the support for controllers seem quite intermittent, in the sense that you can control some parameters but not others.

Essentially I'm looking to replicate a console experience on the PC, using a pad as I do on my PS4.

Anybody else do this?

 

I use my ps3 gamepad on the pc, and you can use your ps4 gamepad on the pc too:

Using that in steam's big picture mode will give you the console experience you want.
