Hey, what's a good VST plugin where you can make your own custom waveforms in a wavetable, like you can do in Serum? Like a Wavetable where I can make in the waveform shape and make my own wavetables for the oscillators. I want to be able to make my own wavetables for the ultimate sounds.
Im obviously looking for plugins other then Serum that can do this. I know PhasePlant also has this feature, I think Zebra2 also does, but that's about it.

Any suggestions is highly appreciated.

i´d suggest to stay away from creating wavesets by drawing curves with a mouse, because it simply does not make any sense to play random spectra.

Sorry I didn't meant to make it saying I was gonna hand draw it, I have no idea how to do that, I was talking about the same system as how you would do it in Serum or any wavetable editor by using like different shapes and lines.

I replaced draw with make, sorry for any confusion.

 

resampling in vital is very nice

 

not vst but in renoise you can literally draw waves with your mouse and stuff. quite cool honestly.

(keep in mind its a sampler not a synth, at least not intended to be as its main purpose)

 

Dimitry Sches' Thorn lets you draw harmonic profiles, per oscillator. It is nice, if not exactly what you are asking about. It's 29$ when it is on sale at PA.

What's wrong with Serum? Imo is the best synth I ever bought as I can easily make the sound I want and their FX are very good

 

There is nothing wrong with the serum.

There are other wavetable synths that have their justification. Some sound different, there is something for every taste.
It's the diversity that makes making music so exciting.

I wanna explore and find different plugins, Im so tired of the same goddamn top plugins being listed over and over and over, you know what I mean, and a lot of them here which I got very surprised with as I have never seen them before, Serum is pretty awesome but sometimes you just feel like exploring other things you know? Tryna find different sounds

It also shows that underrated synths should also be noticed too, give others a shot before jumping the gun with the big popular ones
