What's a good plug-in to add warmth

    You got the point. Distortion will not make everything better. Its destroying
    the sound. But... if you have a strong lead guitar and a bassline with power,
    drums of hell and so on but your vocals are recorded with a 9$-mic right into
    your soundcard you may want to distort the vocals a bit too cause its sounding
    too "clean" in comparison with the other elements. There ARE some tasks that
    only distortion can do. I agree with you that "analog warmth" is overrated. *yes*

    It depends on the genre and personal taste. I'm sure some pop-makers will
    agree with your term but you forgot about the guys n girls which are loving some dirt in
    their signal chain! :mates:

    My list is in alphabetical order :grooves:
    I copy/paste from my SATURATION Dir.
    If I had to choose one, wouldn't know which is the winner.
    It all depends on what you to use.
    I only put plugins I consider for saturation/warm.
    Looking at the list again, I leave one:
