If it's Your signature sound, You're absolute right, no need for more explanations, I do get it, even if it was not Your signature sound !
I mentioned the sharing will, not knowing that it was Your signature sound.
    Take care.:winker:

She has a strong German accent. Quite often I have to help her with her English but in general she does a great job. Thanks.

    V1
    After we misunderstood
I felt the rain upon my skin
    Spoiling my pain OOOOhoooo
Turned the blood into warm again

    Chorus:
    Promises, broken promises
    Until the rain's gona start
Until the drops dip down to my soul tonight
    Until the rain's gona start
    Spoiling my pain
Turn the blood into warm again

    Bridge:
When I sense your face thru the dark
My eyes are burning like fire
When the wind is blowing fog in the yard
    I´m scared

    V2
    Words can burn like fire
    even if its not desired
    you can´ t stop OOOOOhoo
and I felt cold and deeply lost

    Chorus:
    promises, broken promises
    Until the rain's gona start
Until the drops dip down to my soul
    Until the rain's gona start
    Spoiling my pain
Turn the blood into warm again

    Bridge:
When I sense your face thru the dark
My eyes are burning like fire
When the wind is blowing fog in the yard
    I´m scared

    Coda
    Until the rain's gona start
Until the drops dip down to my soul tonight
    Until the rain's gona start
    Spoiling my pain
Turn the blood into warm again

I am a student of production myself and probably always will be. Even though I have learned a lot, and my work is improving, I am constantly learning from others. That is one reason I host an online music collaboration group through google. People often balk and ask me why I do this....Well the answer is simple and related to what we are talking about. It is like FREE education in songwriting, arrangement, and production. Since the chances of selling my work to make money are very slim, this is my payoff. The networking really has helped me, and I try to help others when possible. The group I host is easy to find. Just google F-Jam Studios. We are constantly helping each other and giving opinions and constructive criticisms and offering help with production etc. Look us up. It is a great way to meet, and help people and get the same from others.

It comes back to me. I have benefitted greatly, so it is not one sided. If people see me helping others, they are more inclined to help me. In that regard it is a bit selfish of me, because i have indeed learned so much. It puts a whole new light on networking, and or collaboration if a person thinks this way. There is so much to learn and improve, but we have to be open to it.

Not really my kind of music, but very well done. Sounds uber crisp.

It's very hectic, and I like the bass riff, but I'm not so sure about the piano. For me anyway, I would need to hear it in context(with the other elements like percussion. Keep going with that riff though.

I've been wanting to find a fellow producer that I could trade some polished (comped, noise reduction, etc.) stems with for a project just to see how different it would be to my mixdown. Then we could trade note and tips back and forth. Sort of a production collaboration.

It's just a scratch but it gave me the right direction to continue

Currently on the fourth iteration of a remix [via a label] for quite a well known producer [which means extra pressure to make something half decent]. Wasn't sure about the previous versions. So when I'm unsure I take a break from them for a few days and then try and listen again with 'fresh ears', but I still wasn't digging what I'd done. So I'm starting again, with perhaps a couple of elements from the others employed.

I actually really like the original track I'm remixing, which I often find makes it harder than if I am either ambivalent or actively dislike what I'm remixing. When I don't care then I try far more adventurous and out there ideas than if I like the original and struggle to produce something that I think complements what's already been produced.
