I have no plans for it really, just making music as a hobby here. I did leave the middle of the stereo field open for a lead or vox of some sort.
I just started another collab with another member from here so I put that one on hold for now with the others.

 

Didn't even see that, but it is facing away from me.

 

Just wondered, I was listening to it and a harmony started dancing around in my head. I really like the build ups in it.

 

I work on a collaboration with a member of this forum...We still don't know where we are heading for. Im sort of working on the bass line...but I feel shy to show it to my friend ...

Go for it. I started the topic for us to post our bits and pieces were working on, not just mine.
Sometimes a track is nowhere near done and not ready for a post of it's own, but you still want to share what you have so far, so here's as good a place as any.

I have to work around the fact that my voice kind of sucks for singing, but I like Gary's stuff, and listened to it a lot in the first half of the 80's, as I prefer the slightly darker synth-pop stuff.

It's a good idea to have a what you're working on section, but I think it really needs to be a sub forum, as everything is going to get buried.

 

The 3D graphics site I visit just added a WIP section recently, so it wouldn't be too crazy for this site to have one as well. Maybe someone could PM a mod about adding such sub forum.

Maybe if you shared it, it might help you discover where it is you're going.

 

A WIP subforum, would be great to bash things out and get opinions, help from each other, leaving the normal our music for finished productions.

 

Chorus is written, and music done for it, but not sure if it's going to sound right yet, until I try singing the verses and chorus together.

 

Ill take the weekend to see where the bass wants to go...if it's not too embarrassing I ll post perhaps btw 12 to 16 bars as very far
At the moment it sounds dark and rushy, but the goal is to create something to be sung by a proper talented singer, a super cool throat we have on here....

The vox is what I'm going to struggle the most with, and as Its me doing the singing, I'm not sure how proper it'll get.
