then 2nd time 150 years ago,
then 3d time right now
(each time having a listen to what the aborigines play and sing),
so their conclusions could be kinda these:

1st visit: this population is still wild, let's look at them later...
2nd visit: wow, they become civilized!
3nd visit: heck, they're becoming wild again...

 

They just had to visit us in the 80ies and now.

I read that a captured alien decades ago really loved classical music, its possibly something they cant create themselves so our planet would be quite an experience for them. I doubt they like the modern stuff but saying that I sometimes wonder what has happened to the human race to go from the great pop and rock music of the 70s, 80s and 90s to the stuff we hear today which bears no resemblance whatsoever and it sounds alien to me.

I would assume that Aliens are aware of all aspects of human civilization. My contact with them has been quite limited and I have very little recall of our interactions. All I can say for sure is that they communicate via telepathy and they can sense strong human emotions such as fear. They have and can use this method to talk to us and give warnings and as well as make suggestions. I'm sure that they could easily intercept radio and TV emissions. But what they think of such things is not known to me.

 

I really want to come up with a counter-question, but I can't because we've never encountered an alien species, and more importantly, their music. That is provided that they have such a thing...
