    Hay guys.
I've been a long time lurker here at audioz and I'm just a bit curious what everybody is planning on buying/bought during this Black Friday days.

To start off I finally took the plunge and bought Native Instruments Absynth (99$ - 50% price drop) That's the third thing I legally bought from NI and damn proud of it.

    What about you guys?
    Cheers :grooves:

I'm very tempted to buy the Impact Soundworks Reason refill bundle for $99. Quality stuff for us Reason users.

I find that an interesting topic. A few years ago, I had a bit of money, and bought a few legit programs like Logic. I also wanted a drum program to use with my V-Drums. Many years ago I played drums in one band, guitar in another, bass in another etc, etc.. so I bought BFD2.

A few problems though. Now I am an old fart my drumming sounds like a guy building a shed...anyway, TF for quantise.

After using BFD2 for a while, I got fed up with it. It is, undoubtedly,a great bit of software, but I did not find it very...intuitive to use. Once I hooked it up to my V Drums, and added in my crappy playing, I was seriously pissed off. It wasn't easy to use the V-Drums with BFD2 at the time. In fact I started to wish that I could have tried alternative drum software before I spent my money.

Anyway, after a while Toontrack brought out some great drum products that worked straight out of the box with V-Drums, and sounded good as well, so I began to regret just spending my money on a product that I was not satisfied with.

Point of this reply to your post is - this is a great place to try it before you buy it. Also, check out the feedback on software before spending your hard earned money.
I hope you got some programs that help you on your musical journey:) :mates:

I'll buy a bottle of wine. Actually make that two.

On a more serious note, I need to cull the choice of what I'm working with even more. It's distracting. No more, just less. Fuck black Friday.

I bought a Vax Rapide Ultra Carpet Cleaner @ half price. Got enough software already and my lounge carpet was filthy. :)

Hmmm, let me see Motif xf, Korg Kronos too expensive, Integra not vst no sequencer, Volca series toy sounds and toy build no thanks.

I would like a Nectar reason 7.0 controller but reason is a closed system and i love my vst's too much. Machine studio looks tempting but the jury's still out on this one. Aphex Usb 500 rack not out yet :dunno: heard Roland's got something cooking for early 2014 think I'll wait and see what they come with. Presonous scepter 8's look promising, but I already have monitors. but there's some really great deals to be had this holiday season.
