As a guitar player, I used to come up with completed songs back when it was just a Teac 3440 4 track reel to reel. Later on, the Atari ST w/Steinberg Pro 24 was added to my setup, a couple Casio CZ's and a Roland TR707. Thus the beginning of the dreaded 'loop-itis' syndrome. Moving onto faster more powerful computers and the available software only made it worse. However, the decades passed along the way and the inevitable growing older and lessening of passion which, adding to it, doesn't help, lol.

AI or not, I find the message a 1,000% correct. The 'limit ones choices' concept is not new of course and espoused by many if not all. Too many choices can be stifling. Trying to set limits can be hard as well, at least for me in that, I bought all this damn software so I need to be using it all or it's a waste. I also experience anxiety because of so much software. Even the thought of hunkering down and learning just one of these complicated, infinite choice available, software synths, gives me dread. I start spiraling by the realization that I would have to live, bare minimum, working at them 8 hours a day, every day, for at least a thousand years, to learn all the shit I got. Aaaaaaahhhh

....and that'd just for the audio software! :suicide:
