What synth was used in this video game soundtrack?

    I used to love listening to the ending music from Sonic Mega Collection when I was young. Now that I'm making my own music I think that having these sounds in my collection would be nice. I would really like to know what that square wave is from because I hear in a lot of other video games. Listening to that piano though makes me think that the sounds are from the Korg M1, but I just want to make sure Im looking at the right synth.

    The guy that puts these together does a really nice job recreating the sound and music for these. Apparently he's only using Dexed to recreate all of the music. Heres a few more:
