I currently own a pearl mimic pro drum module in which the drum samples are fantastic!
i also own SSD4 with a terry date expansion pack, the only problem is although they are some SSD4
samples on the mimic, there is no way of putting multiple samples (1 shots only) onto the 120GB SSD within the module.

The library itself is just over 13GB leaving all that space on the SSD redundant, the module even has an SD card slot which is supposed to be for new sounds purchased on the Steven Slate/Pearl websites!

With all this there is no news from either camp about when these expansion samples will be released.

So i was thinking of tinkering with the library which is free from the pearl website & the library i have on my computer.
Snag is the programs which are supposed to open these files (drd/bin, ssi/ssd) i don't think are released
to the general public (PL Designer does not recognise drd files)

Now by reading this you will realise i am in fact an amateur, this is true.
I am also aware of potentially bricking my module which i am not keen on doing, but tinkering within
the library might have some benefits!

    any advice would be great!
