I am asking because I am going to actually purchase a new Soft Synth, Personally why buy soft synths when hardware is almost the same price. I mean it's worth the extra bucks to have a physical asset right? Anyhow I am looking at Lethal, Avenger and Falcon. Which would you choose? I am certainly leaning towards Avenger because Sylenth is used by everyone and avenger is not available to everyone in the world as a ware.

What do you want to accomplish?
Avenger and Sylenth are very different on terms of functionality. And lethal isn't a synth.

i am a serum owner. Im not a noob i know the differences but thank you for your input. Im just looking for a new toy to be creative and authentic. so that means that really only two options should be there but I wanted to see what the community says. I am most interested in Avenger

    Avenger.
    Far and fuckin’ away.

    Serum is awesome too.

But with Avenger I could make a whole EP with drums and bass and everything.

****If any of you know how to program au/vst let me know I am currently seeking a developer who will work with me on hybrid hardware/software model. Just an off topic comment. Hopefully more people will respond to the poll.

@famouslut, how can you disagree with my answer? I was asked which synth I'd choose, not what I'd recommend.

Sylenth has per month price option ( €9.95 Euro* monthly ) so ... , btw. if u do trance related stuffs Hive also has really fresh sound (not an overused one like Sylenth, Spire)

love it ... ( yepp definitely worth to check Sami's site > https://www.aiynzahev-sounds.com/ scroll down to the presets)

Avenger is like a Virus on Crack, great waveforms to make your own sound with

    It also is a drummachine

A little bit harder to use for sounddesign then Serum, also not as clean sounding, but the effects are way better

only thing im missing with it is a multiout for the drums and FX plugin to put on other tracks

never expierienced any slowness on windows, but that is on an i7

Half the presets wont even work on an old macbook as its rather cpu hungry with all the modulations

Me thinks that the sale codes will still get you a cheaper price even if not advertised, so you can get 20% off

Cant do granular for now, but you can render to audio with the demo and use it on your tracks without paying

Would like to try falcon but uvi does not give demos

Avenger it the most versatile Synth.
    It has:
    • Multisample Import
    • Wavetables (even creation from samples)
    • wav oscillator shapes
    • classic synth shapes
    • a lot off effects, heck even a multi band distortion
    • convolution reverb built in
    • BIG Vector GUI*
    • Custom Expansions can be created easily.
    • Nice Modulation System
    • great Filters
    • the upcoming update with introduce granular synthesis.
    etc ...

*Regarding the GUI, it is quite slow to show especially under Windows
Faster GUI on macOS but it crash on Macs with a Nvidia Graphics Card

  18. Whoa, even now granular. Intense is an understatement. My next soft purchase. With this, Legend and Omnisphere I think I have all my bases covered for my synth needs and so life is a cherr a bowlies.

I own Falcon and Serum... different in their own ways but both incredibly versatile. I tend to use Falcon more as I feel it has a sound that just feels right and sits really nice in a mix, plus I can load any UVI library into it which lets me extend the usability of those libraries even more. Ive used Sylenth in the past but prefer the sound of my VirusTI instead. Pass on Lethal, not for me.

Avenger does look awesome though. I've been eyeing it since it came out and just biding my time whne it goes on sale (hopefully this winter).
