    My top two is

    1) fruity reverb 2 (underrated reverb)

    2) some type of unit like the blue cat mb 7 mixer plugin.

At first i thought, what a nice subject and 684 ms later i am like:
Why? Hardware is a huge drawback that needs maintenance and takes space, it limits you to just one unit while you can have virtually infinite in VST world.

You obviously need that for controlling ok, i got you covered, this guy had the same question as you and actually did something about it:
    http://www.synth-project.de/diva.html

I am planning to do something similar for VST effects but for aesthetic reasons mostly.

Hardware, especially hardware reverb is better than plugins imo. The real things don't give you as much ear fatigue. Why is that the case?

Like take the Liquid sonics bricasti emulation it's close but why do plugins at least to my ear create more ear fatigue than the hardware?

The plugins always have this metallic type of sound to it. That combined with a mic that is a bit harsh can be painful at times.

Here you go, a bit 'spensive tho. That was quick, wasn't it? They made it that fast?!

Ok I can keep doing this but I haven't got all day lol

My point is these are already out in the real world and it's where plugins get their ideas from.

I'm about to have a stroke LOL

Hey Softube can you return all those Marshall amps and cabs we let you borrow?

We said you can just rip the modeling to bust down to code & have a thot ass clap some impulse responses then the deal was you ship them back to Marshall Headquarters like you promised not keep it as a coffee table for blunt roaches.

This isn't Guitar Center, hell even GC doesn't even let you do that. So fork those fuckers over already!

on serious note, hoping for some good plugin to become hardware is just IMHO walking in reverse. About those reverbs it is just matter of wires and DAC (converters) plus your region electricity hum and noise whatever, which in a year or two will become standard now a lot of new dev starting to model the DAC of the hardware units (Arturia Emu, DX7 etc.).

the only thing we should be hoping for (since we are doing it now) is for all these old hardware become obsolete so hard because the software (in this case the-non UAD VST, non AAX) technology become so advanced the VST will sound better in all aspect compared to the hardware, zero-latency, 3mb max in size, only need 0.01% CPU and priced at $1 each.

Then we can fight about which controller is better. (Read: SSL)

    Thank You Stevie Dude.
Making hardware is very expensive. It is only worthwhile if you have it produced in low-wage countries and you absolutely have to sell large numbers of items. In addition, you have to undercut the competition either in terms of price or in terms of quality. The analog becomes digital ... The advantage of the software is - it does not rust - the keyboard does not have to be replaced, the capacitors do not burst, in short it does not break. The cost and risk with software is much lower. In addition, software is more environmentally friendly and conserves resources.

Nah me and @Barmaley (covid edition) obviously know they are already plugins of real hardware that's making full circle already like a snake eating it's own tail.

We were just pissing on each others shoe and throwing beer bottles at the wall, mostly everyone here is honestly. It's the lounge, OP knows he's probably making his second thread about this very subject. Or maybe he's just parodying who was, I can't remember.

OP asked for fl reverb to be made into hardware, ffs. Most of my posts are shit posts that I pissed on top of
