I´m also a gamer, need good response time.
TV & curved Gaming Moni are very different.
I can now play the games on max settings with ok/good fps.
Feel like I don´t need more at the moment.

LG 38WN95C is on my buylist, its almost perfect for productivity, not too wide, good ultrawide without compromising on vertical space, image quality or brightness, I could not go any lower on vertical space after getting accustomed to my 32inch monitor.

And very high refresh rate of 144 and can be overclocked to 170hz with sacrifices :d

2x 27" 2560x1440 AOC Q27P1 here. On a vertical dual VESA mount. Ultrawide doesn't seem practical to me because window management on a dual monitor setup seems just way easier (though probably you can set an ultrawide to act as two monitors in software). And for my desk setting two 27"s horizontally would make my speakers way too widely spaced. The upper monitor is usually a reference one for me (tutorials, email, mixer, checking levels, main DAW timeline while editing MIDI on the main monitor etc). I'd say it's definitely worth it to go over 1080p regardless of what you choose.

No idea, but I love it. Whatever sceen is in my Asus Tuf, it can go up to 4k, kind of pointless, mostly for a 15" screen. It's absolutely amazing though, you can view it near 100% colour accuracy the the tight side angle you can get, it has some kind of overdrive too so it can display at over 60hz. Colours are amazing.

I have 32" Sony Bravia next to it, but I never plug the laptop in I like the screen that much
