    Hi girls & guys,

i am just curious: what kind of music do you members of AudioSEX primarily make, play, compose, produce?
In which music genre do you feel yourself the most at home? :drummer: :guitarhero: :keys:

I hope, there isn't such a poll already, at least I didn't find one. :dunno:

Maybe i forgot to mention the one or other genre....tell me, if this is the case.!
Multiple answers allowed. Please keep in mind: it's about the music you make, not the one you like.

I personally like stuff from all genres.....
Ambient is my base. Mostly i make a mixture of Ambient, Ethno, Shaman Drums (more live, less via PC) and sometimes classical instruments.

If you want to leave an additional comment - great!

It might be probably helpful, if some of us wants to connect to other members having the same interests,
or in case we like to ask someone for help, who has a special knowledge. :mates:

Thanks for taking part in this poll !!

Certainly nothing to feel out of place about. It is after all the legacy of functional harmony left to us from the Baroque, Classical and Romantic periods that form the foundation of all music studies. It's actually really refreshing to have someone like that at AudioSex. :mates:
I envy the knowledge and ability that you have at your disposal. I am going through a lot trying to learn music theory and how to play the piano. At the moment I'm in the middle of harmony studies. I can tell you one thing...my knowledge of music theory is a lot better than my playing.

To answer your question Alraun since I am still learning (aren't we always) I'm all over the map. My primary interests lie in EBM, Industrial or Electro-Industrial (you seem to have left that one out) but since I have very diverse listening interests I would like to work in many disparate genres. I'm into Industrial genres a lot because they really speak to my chaotic soul and are the most politically charged of all of them. Born out of a counter-culture movement that completely overturned conventions in the world and music theory it is music that really has impact and makes a statement. I guess it just really speaks to me. I also like to compose Ambient, Classical, Downtempo, Drum and Bass, Electro, House, IDM, Minimal, Soundtrack, Synthpop, Techno, Trance, Trip-Hop and probably some others I can't think of at the moment. It makes learning hard though because different genres have different types of arrangements, production techniques, etc. Still I don't like to limit myself particularly in music which is my greatest passion.
