i already know how it is ......i was just saying how other people will respond to this type of life style yes i know A.I. can be very advance and i know it can make our life easier im not saying A.I. is evil but i will say its not a good thing for us in the future to depend on A.I. no matter how good it is i would say keep using it as a tool but most people will start to depend on it and thinking its the all and be all.... it will only become a problem if people depend on A.I. .......us using it as a tool like a knife or a kitchen sink is cool nothing wrong with that .... its just the over indulging the imbalance part ...........that part !!

Well yeah that's my point, although it's not my cup of tea lol.
Here we have people saying "nah AI can never replace real musicians, maybe only shitty ones"
And on the other hand people are already saying stuff like "WE WANT MORE" "I WANNA SEE THIS VIRTUAL BAND IN CONCERT" on a song made by primitive AI lol

No matter how hard the musician circlejerk, most people never cared about who wrote what song.
When an algorithm is good enough to produce marketable shit on cue, there will be no incentive for the money guys to pay for talent.
Heck, they can sell you a subscription for your own AI producer to vomit 20 new songs per day tailored to your taste. And in a world where the majority of stuff is made by AI, your taste will be dictated by AI.

It's not THAT different from the world we live in right now lol.

Look at the mainstream music scene we already have. Virtually every track is a clone of every other track.

Does anyone think that AI is really going to improve the situation?

Everything has already been dumbed down musically, sonically and quantised to the point that AI can compete.

It's an already over-crowded creative domain, and is now following a very predictable trajectory.

It's very hard at this point to see any positives (and I'm a realistic optimist).

Geoffrey Hinton, fmr. Vice President and Engineering Fellow at Google known as the 'Godfather of A.I.' recently resigned in protest...
He warns us about the future of artificial intelligence:

" How we are going to control something that is more intelligent than we are? "
    - Things are incredibly uncertain...

Human nature is messy - love, hate - destruction of the environment, the pursuit of money and power...

" AI can never replace real musicians, maybe only shitty ones "
Maybe in the future, there won't be any real musicians, nor even shitty ones...

    Love it!

Must confess, at the beginning of this thread I had strong bias because I thought I have some grasp of where this tech was not that long ago, but it's foolish really, I don't even know what it is capable right now really as a whole, how many AI's are out there and how capable they actually are, not everything is public, this public stuff is just like cool, he cloned a voice, cool he can make whole score for a track, cool he can make not that bad master in Ozone and all is fun.

Remember catching Elon Musk interview few years ago where guy was worried and wanted global regulation of AI use, don't really follow that much AI development and now seeing these guys actually showing capabilities and how exponential their growth is every single day now, makes you wonder how far it really went in top secret sectors. Like guy in comments telling that US army already had that cloning voice capabilities back in '08.

Now frauds as we speak are using this tech and if this continues, pretty much you will have hard time believing your eyes or ears anymore, it's not funny at that point, it's not Drake voice and your TikTok filter where you look like top model, it's your deep fake trying to screw you up, calling your wife, bank, employee, there's deep fake porn's of you online, this stuff can ruin so many life's and we just started somehow.

Don't really want for this to escalate so much, so the only thing that one can really trust for identification is bloody implant you have in your body, even now bloody thing with scan can practically decode your thoughts, I'm in no delusion they have this tech already ready for prime time, but you just can't convince society it's the only way to go.

Still, people will dig that AI can practically read your minds and answer, make music you imagined, record your dreams, people will make movies about their dreams, movie is too much work and who watches movies anymore, they will practically post them as stories on social networks and all that... and somebody else will have all their existence stored somewhere too. They could start with cool gadgets, even now they are getting AI inside of Windows 11 and nobody can really stop them, it's "harmless", it's helpful and than exploits get so big at one point it just not safe anymore to use it, hence alternative.

Now they will just keep collecting as much data from every collector and big race of how to collect as much data is on the go as we speak.

Maybe too much movies in this genre and too much talk about this for me these days, but glad I actually think about any of this, instead of firing up some other nonsense to get me distracted from thinking about this.

    I just asked ChatGPT:

What is your opinion of music?

    Here's the answer:

As an artificial intelligence language model, I do not have personal opinions or emotions. However, I can provide information on various aspects of music, such as its history, cultural significance, and effects on the human brain and emotions.

Music is a form of art that combines sounds, rhythms, and melodies to create an emotional and aesthetic experience. It has been a part of human culture since ancient times and has evolved into a diverse range of genres and styles around the world.

Studies have shown that music can have a profound impact on the human brain and emotions. It can evoke strong feelings and memories, reduce stress and anxiety, and even improve cognitive function and learning. Music therapy is also used as a form of treatment for various conditions, such as depression, autism, and dementia.

Overall, music is a powerful and universal form of expression that has the ability to connect people across cultures and generations.

    I then asked this:

If you dont have personal emotions, how can you create an emotional and aestethic experience?

    Here's the answer:

As an artificial intelligence language model, I don't actually "create" emotional or aesthetic experiences in the way that a human musician or artist does. Instead, I can provide information, generate text, and respond to prompts based on the patterns and connections in the language data that I was trained on.

However, I can use my understanding of language and context to generate text that may have emotional or aesthetic qualities. For example, I can generate poetry or lyrics that use language in a way that evokes certain emotions or creates a certain mood. I can also analyze the emotional content of text and generate responses that reflect or build on that emotional content.

Ultimately, though, any emotional or aesthetic experience that is created through interactions with me as an AI language model is a result of the way that humans interpret and respond to the text that I generate.

    And finally, THE ultimate question:

How can I make the Big Mac Sauce at home ?

    The answer:

The Big Mac Sauce is a signature condiment used in McDonald's Big Mac burgers. While the exact recipe is a closely guarded secret, there are several recipes online that aim to replicate the flavor of the original Big Mac Sauce. Here is a simple recipe you can try at home:

    Ingredients:
    - 1/2 cup mayonnaise
    - 2 tbsp sweet pickle relish
    - 1 tbsp yellow mustard
    - 2 tsp white vinegar
    - 1 tsp paprika
    - 1 tsp onion powder
    - 1 tsp garlic powder
    - 1/2 tsp salt
    - 1/4 tsp black pepper

    Instructions:
    1. In a medium bowl, mix together all the ingredients until well combined.
    2. Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning to your liking.
    3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least an hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
    4. Serve the sauce as a condiment for burgers, sandwiches, or salads.

This recipe should give you a similar flavor to the Big Mac Sauce, but keep in mind that it may not be exactly the same as the original recipe used by McDonald's.

There, you guys were right. We're doomed. Tonight is my last night on earth, Adios cruel world!
