Upload is 100mb as well, but I'm seeding for torrent now. It's the slowest speed available here, subs to the 500mb before and it's kinda overkill for my needs. 100mb is pretty decent for 2 people and enough for me. It has separate line for 4k TV (Netflix, Disney+ etc) that wont affect the main internet line. Monthly commitment is equivalent to USD20 per month.

They keep increasing the speed (and bill) but the upload has been the same for years.
Have package deal but I think the internet is around 100 a month.

 

I'm paying about $24 for 20 Up & 70 Down with unlimited calls.

A couple of very annoying things about Xfinity

• I had the 500Mb plan: they do have data cap and after 1TB/month they charge extra fee. I had this issue because during Covid I was transmitting on Twitch 24/7 and data traffic was around 1.3TB a month.

• They do track your traffic: I received from them a warning for improper use of data (torrent activity), they even sent me an email with the title of the movie that I downloaded illegally.

Be careful about how you use your Xfinity connection.
Now I'm with Frontier (500Mb plan, no data cap) and I don't use torrent apps

How can you have such low ping time? Are you living like less than 1 km from server?

115/13 on wifi router. fast enough i don't want to drill a hole in the wall.

Not sure why you have run into this. None of that has been my experience with them. Especially the terabyte part. I think you probably had that experience due to downloading pirated commercial release films.

Xfinity data cap is a rip off and I have to pay extra to not have it.
I have gotten 2 warnings about downloading but it was years ago. (Star Trek and a Sonic android game lol)
I download everything with rapidgator, seedbox, and vpn.
Frontier in my area has lots of outages.
