Omnisphere 2 and Zebra 2 :headbang:. The two most used synths in MY arsenal.
Don't like Europa (yet) but I LOVE:metal: the new Sugar Bytes' Aparillo and using it a lot! But I write for TV and film... and my synth use reflects that.

That said, I use the hell out of :keys::

Serum, Sylenth 1, O2, Diva, Z3Ta +2, U-he synths (Zebra 2, Ace, Bazille, Hive), Dmitry Sches synths (Diversion,Tantra & Thorn), Iris 2, Synthmaster & Synthmaster ONE, ALL Native Instruments' synths (Massive, Absynth, FM8, Reaktor [Skanner XT especially!]), Spire, Rob Papen synths (Blue 2, Predator 2 Go2), Linplug synths (CrX4, MorphoX & Octopus), Olga, ANA 2, ArcSyn, Dark Planet, Pad Shop, and Dune 2.

I use ALL of those every week if not everyday!!! (not that anyone cares!)

Oh... a good synth I rarely use anymore Enzyme, is going away November 10th, 2018. Humanoid Sound Systems is going out of business.:thanks:

I love experimenting with ''Synplant'' by Sonic Charge. A cool way of generating sound with either the usual way or by playing with these green branches, no kidding! You can either play it with furious or control it with very subtle gestures! There's a wide range of useful textures and noises that can come out of it, sometimes depending which branch you play or which part of the branch you play! You can add an impressive momentum or terrifying crashes, just about anything is possible. The synth parameters are on this long DNA strand, I use it to just randomly change settings, I love the unexpected sharpness and ''visceral'' quality of this synth, highly recommended![IMG]

Sugar Bytes ''Cyclops'' falls in that category, it is capable of some really sharp, raw sounds!

I actually own Reason 10, but I have not had time to get into it much. Since I spent $300 for it, believe me when I tell you I am gonna do this. I want to get into Europa for sure. I am actually glad to see the bridging from 32 bit to 64, since I am a HUGE fan of Steinberg's Hypersonic 2. I still use it, and my opinion is that good sounds never go out of date. Looking forward to getting more into Reason though. I have the projects stacked up to the ceiling. One day I will get there.

I compared supersaws on Hive, Dune 2, Serum and Spire. It was a quick comparison and I was able to make them sound almost same. If your style is limited to supersaws, Dune 2 is the best choice. It is lightest on cpu, even lighter than Sylenth1. New Analog ADSR envelopes in Dune 2 sounds amazing.
Waiting for Dune 3 to come out from Beta stage.

    Arturia DX7 V - it's basically a DX7

Synapse Audio X-Poly - loosely based emulation (simulation?) of a poly 800....good for cheesy synth pop leads

Plogue PortaFM - first installment of the chipsynth series...it's wonderfully lo-fi

Monark - great for bread and butter mono synth stuff

    SQ8L - and ESQ-1 essentially...and the ESQ-1 is an amazing sounidng synth

The Roland Jupiter, Juno, SH2, Promars and JX3P plugouts.

Now I wait for a proper Polivoks emulation and an Akai AX80 emulation

I like my synths more pure and not too much effects on them plus i need more pure electronic sounds, synths like dune or spire are too edm heavy with presets, although i try to change many parameters to make the sound „my own“ afterwards i found a nice sequence or melody.

I had a poly 800 as a child growing up into doin music, and i used it a lot for dubtechno (before the name) chords in the 90s, eager to check for that emulation if i can find some time to do so

Xils lab stuff is great, the poly kb iii sounds very analogue, feels also like analogue in a way, bit complicated in the beginning, but top notch stuff

I recently got myself a copy too, and I'm slowly making the transition from Ableton and FL Studio (that I also own) to go full Reason.
I also like to use Reason and FL Studio in conjunction with Ableton, and probably I'll end using this solution, as it gives me the chance to use the best of what they offer.

try the reason seq after reading manual proper and pls report which one you better like , live or reason seq/arrange grit

dont want to tell you 'read manual' but many said you get it fully , only after reading manual on reason seq

And you're completely right. Reason is one of those DAW that you really need to read the manual.
Once you start to undercover the full power of it, its addictive
