What is the process of creating a Film score?

    Well this may be a very long answer but I really want to know the behind scenes of Film scoring right from the beginning to end(pre-development,production,orchestration,mixing with videos etc)

    Like how do the director approaches the composer? Their labeling deals?
    Do the composers get the movie scenes before hand? and so on :dunno:
