Fabfilter doesn't sell a graphic eq. Waves GEQ might be worth a look. Any price range?
(Don't mean to sound rude, but are you sure you're really looking for a graphic one and not for a full parametric eq? What do you need it for?)

How about Voxengo free EQs Marvel GEQ and Overtone GEQ? Marvel GEQ is a very hi-quality GEQ. Maybe too hi-quality for tracking and mixing. Overtone GEQ is more apt for that. http://www.voxengo.com/product/marvelgeq/ and http://www.voxengo.com/product/overtonegeq/ Seems like many people are overlooking Voxengo stuff for some reason. Alexey's plugins are absolutely hi-quality stuff, people!

If you'd like to part with some of your money you can always check Waves API-560 GEQ or those SPL tracking GEQs from Plugin Alliance.

Cheers! Have a great Saturday night!:mates:

I think the issue about parametic/grafic eq is actually solved already, and your question regarding: "why do you need a graphic EQ?" has also been answared

personally, i only use GEQ for live sound for microphone feedback (ringing out the system) & for awkward rooms.

theyre also good in a less than ideal studio.

but when it comes to mixing, parametric is the way, although the waves GEQ is good because it has a Q unlike a lot of others including a lot of rack units.

don't really understand why you think parametrics are slow? you have more control, some have tones and colour. and a lot more detail.

it's all too easy to take out too much or boost too much with a Graphic EQ.

    but whatever floats your boat.

    but +1 for the waves

Waves GEQ, There are two (Well four actually if counted the way in which Waves' counts each component) compontents to this, A "Classic" model and a "modern" model. The 'Classic' mode will be the one which you are more than likey familar with and wanting since it is based on a standard which has been around for decades, The ISO DN 1/3 octave IIRC/I could be wrong. If I'm right then this design via the proportional Q narrows the bell/Q of each filter band the more it is boosted and also when it is cut, The bands overlap also which results in a very natural sound result which our ears are quite used to. The 'Modern' mode is radically different with absolutely no overlap between any of the bands along with digitally perfect flat filters which when viewed look very odd but they have their uses/do not sound as odd as they appear, I'd personally say this is the model out of the pair which is best suited for surgical cutting/subtractive EQ work. The Waves GEQ is probably your best bet if you have to have a graphic EQ in plugin format in my very humble honest opinion.

I won't repeat the other fine suggestions already mentioned by fellow members, All are worth trying out to find which one fits best, The best software made is nothing without an intuative GUI with a well layed out set of controls. Anything that hampers one's workflow is just deadwood, Aswell as slowing down workflow they kill creativity which is the worst thing a tool can do in my opinion and experience

I will add that at some point when or If you are open to/would like to/want to try other equalizer plugins which offer alot more than any Graphic EQ is able to then you might want to try the following options:
DMG Audio EQuilibrium, Waves H-EQ, Eiosis Air EQ, apulsoft apQualizr, Brainworx BX Digital V2, Sonnox Oxford R3 EQ,
FabFilter Pro-Q 2, SoundRaidx SurferEQ, Voxengo CurveEQ, PSPaudioware PSP MasterQ2, Sonible Freiraum EQ. MeldaProduction's EQ plugins are really liked by some and offer alot. I haven't tried them so couldn't vouch for them but don't let that stop you! There are plenty of others but you get the point/idea. Then there are a fairly decent amount of offerings available which deliver great results EQ wise but go about it what is usuaully termed as "noval" in manner, Certaintly all worth trying:
Vladg:Sounds Nova 67-P, Sonoris Audio Engineering Parallel EQ, 112dB Redline Series Redline EQ, Sonalksis CQ-1 & DQ-1,
FabFilter Pro-MB along with many others but you get the point/idea

As has been suggested already, You will find a whole new way of approaching equalization if you take the time to delve into the other forms of equalization that is availalbe, It'll be time well spent in my humble honest opinion

Hope that helps, All the best to all as always
