MusicLab stuff was always, but Omnisphere has some good older Presets in the Factory. Nylon Sky SEx is also very good.

    Kontakt libraries always disappointed imo.

For me: MusicLab, Ample Sound, Orange Tree Samples and Ilya Efimov Guitars are all good for me.

The problem I have is, I just cannot seem to transfer my keyboard skills to make ANY guitar library or VST sound like a proper guitar! I've tried them all.
I do like the Mesa 5 Boogie Amp on Amplitube though. That's very nice.

In my personal opinion after trying out every possible Guitar VST out there the Best Guitar Vsts are The Impact Soundworks Shreddage for Rythm Guitars and Ample Sound Guitar Vsts mainly for Lead Guitars (definitely the best out there), (also some good rythm guitar solutions) and some Classic Guitars. I have been experimenting for 1 year + with Guitar Vsts. But, I have to say Guitar vsts need lots of improvement and progress in general...

I really like the Ample Sound stuff! Comes in very handy when I want to get ideas quickly and don't have my instruments with me. Don't really have a use for all the amp modelling they include in their newer releases but the sampling is great. I feel they are more flexible than most of the Kontakt-based stuff.

In particular, I've had experience with their Ample Metal Eclipse and the Ample Metal Hellrazer among guitars and Ample Metal Ray and Ample Bass J among the basses. All of them sound quite good IMHO. The Hellrazer is the only 9-string available as far as I'm aware. Needless to say, it has a crazy range!

Well yes true, but it nogs my noodle sometimes (Is that even a real term?) that I just cant seem to grasp it.

I just been watching this geezer on you tube from Sweetwater give a few tips on how to do it. It all looks SO easy. I tried it and it was a bloody disaster!!
