What is different between cut audio by EQ and compress audio by compressor?

    a EQ cuts SOME frequencies ALL the time
    a (multiband) compressor cuts (SOME) frequencies SOME of the time

    Better make it - What are the SIMILARITIES between EQ and compressor?

    Well - hardware USUALLY goes to same outlet, uses the same cables, often fits in the same rack...

    Plugins - they both go on inserts... often they share the same company who made them.

    That's about it, everything else is pretty much different... others might find some more though...

    What is different beetween oranges and bananas ????
    First of all, they both are fuits, they have skins, orange is orange and bananas is yellow with dark comas
    You can not make juice with bananas and monkeys don' t drink orange juice!
    Orange and bananas are not pineapple.
