There is many sound similar to this sound,

this is a simple way that you can get something similar:
Take a simple synth or a vintage synth,
do the filter (high-cut) (maybe you need to cut the high frq somewhere between 400Hz to 600Hz)
play with attack (in envelope section) to find the right place,
and then give a little bit of Decay and Sustain and release,
    some reverb and delay.
boom your are somewhere there ;)

    Hope it helps :)

  7. I was just messing around before. To me it's most prob a synth with a soft envelope timed to the bpm, both attack and hp filter, at least that is how I would play and create the sound. It's just a two note groove to add dimension to this bit of the song, and as long as you play in time it will hold the energy and emotion of the space that it holds.

    hmm subtle..
    pretty special sound,
envelope and filtering will bring you somewhere there.
but its hard if not impossible to obtain the core sound with a synth,
to me this sounds like an electric piano, fender rhode possibly

maybe spectrasonics keyscape is the solution
