what happens at this transition

    at 1:07 kick clap and guitar is all i can hear and then the transition comes
    something happens to all of them and blending in with a noise effect? i don't quite understand whats going on
    and then an impact comes.....probably floor tom with reverb or something?

    On principle:
    1. reverb is faded in
    2. signals are faded out (while reverb fade-in continues)
    3. woosh sound (noise fx)
    4. reverse cym
    5. forward cym EDIT: ha, ha, with BD of course - I forgot :facepalm:

    Reverb volume automation, highpass automation, reverse cymbal AND bandpass-ish sweep on noise, kick omit/stops...
    The impact is a kick or drum with reverb. There is also some pitch envelope on a bass/drum or similar (falling in pitch, as in "tape-stop").
