Hey, just a few days ago i realized bob deleted all his kontakt library tool videos from youtube, and today there's no longer a website with all the kontakt libraries for download. Anyone knows what happened? i'm lucky i downloaded all libraries i use before the web got shut down, if anyone has any word from Bob please keep us updated.. this would be a big loss for the warez community

 

I bet he got a call from the [9][1][1]...

 

Yeah, his profile is missing from here too. Him and I used to go back and forth in PM...and those messages are gone from my inbox now.

Sometimes people decide to completely remove themselves from a certain aspect of their life. It happens too.
However, without hearing it directly, anything as to why he has disappeared is speculation.

Damn I really hope he doesn't have problems with the law, or any other problems for that matter.

It's easy to speculate and difficult to tell why, or what, the reasons behind people leaving our small corner of the internet are when they disappear without a trace. I hope that he's well and have just decided to move on to the next thing in life.

It seems crazy! I've never understood how it's possible to not know both exist. I dunno maybe it's because I came from there to here, so to speak. Good to see Bob is ok, got a bit worried when I saw the feed from the sister site.

I knew Bob was fine because I'd seen him posting patchers for Ableton on the Russian site and the Sister site over the past week. Like you, I only discovered this place because I was over there. I do love this place, but if you were looking for a regular audio discussion forum -- a place to discuss stuff other than the products of the various release teams -- I'm not sure that this would be my first choice.

 

I am so thankful towards No Avenger that I will give the tiger avatar a scratch pad and endless virtual catnip along with lots of virtual fish. Ok going phishing now. Seriously though, thank you. I must thank Bob Dule too. I have now bought many of the NI Kontakt series that I tried out courtesy of Bob Dule so much appreciation goes the way of the Dule Dude too.

 

I just saul Bob Dule in the online tab at the bottom of the forum listing earlier today. Ya'll gotta not be a buch of Bob Dole Bannans about it and let that mans sleep! He gots a life too but he still come and blessing you!

 

I thought he was posting regularly too, that's why I had a gander here. I've not used his stuff (I find a version that works for me and stick with it for as long as I can!) but it's obvious that he's a good un' so glad he's doing ok. I only lurk and take over there (I am grateful, honest!) thought I'd sign up here as the comment section on the sister site is rightfully only for the particular release posted.
I like it here too - people who are into what we are into are usually pretty chillled and helpful, if need be. Nevermind first choice, this is the only place I really discuss music software/production at all, most of those I talk to online glaze over at the mention of VST's and DAW's!

 

Please don't ask for the sister site in this thread anymore, it's off-topic. Google 'audioz'.

 

To be honest, I don't really discuss it anywhere. Back when I was learning, even though I was never really into Drum and Bass, I was a devoted reader of Dogs on Acid. Most of my production fundamentals came from there. But all I really meant was this: if I had questions about a DAW, I'd look on that DAW's forum. Questions about a VST? Probably on the dev's website. A certain style of production? I'll tend to look on YouTube and see who's making videos about that thing. But if I just wanted to learn about or discuss audio production in general, this place really isn't the first place that would occur to me.

So I was just sorta curious about how people who hadn't found their way here from the sister site actually managed to find their way here. And why they stayed long enough to be only asking about the other place twelve months later?
