So since I posted the last song I went and cracked another one out today. I was wondering what genre would this be? Would you call this a little more synthwavey? or maybe chillwave or straight electronic I just want an opinion on it. Thanks again guys you are a great help! I also just started making music 5 days ago.

I mean, I like all styles for the most part. I like chill stuff, I just can't really decide what to categorize it under, so I ask haha.
Just let that classify, every day a style comes along, no one gets through that anymore. You sit at your PC or laptop and what you do is "electronic music" or "computer generated music". You do: Electronic music - Ambient - Relaxing.

    It's more "ambient":

Ambient is a variant of electronic music where spherical, soft, drawn-out and warm sounds dominate. Rhythm and percussion are in the background or absent in ambient music; they appear as subtle percussion textures, as arpeggios, or in rhythmically introduced melodic and bass progressions. Spatial effects, soundscapes, and field recordings are also frequently experimented with, and electronic organs (keyboards) and wind instruments are often used. Natural soundscapes, speech and vocals also have their place. The music pieces are usually very slow and long, often building up leisurely and merging into each other, rarely following a classical song structure.

Oh my gosh thank you so much for the detailed message. I seriously am having a hard time classifying music I make because to me it sounds synthwavey. I have listened to synthwave mixs or chillwave and they have been long and drawn out like this so thats why im like well "what the hell is it" haha Just confused was all xD

The younger generation coins their own terms like every generation. Being from a different generation I dont understand them anymore. I'm for listening to the old masters to see especially to hear what all is possible in music. Nothing is so
as when someone says to you you sound like XY. Or you sound like many others. Maybe you develop your own style.

I recommend that you add a second, higher quality reverb:
    https://producelikeapro.com/blog/best-reverb-plugins/
    Example: FabFilter | Pro-R or Waves | H-Reverb

Best Drum VST Plugins: The Ultimate Guide 2022
    www.pianodreamers.com/best-drum-vst-plugins/
Example: XLN Audio - Addictive Drums 2 or Toontrack Superior Drummer 3

I would leave out the LFO tool. It does more harm than good.

Chillwave/Synthwave/Retrowave fits quite well, I think.
I would not call it ambient, waaay to upfront soundwise. The kick alone is almost in EDM territory, which is not a bad thing per se... but makes it unsuitable for calling it ambient in my understanding.

BTW i like your track :)

I listened prior to above comment, and I checked the kick again. The first time I did not pay it much attention. It's also too clean and clicky for retro "sounding". I think it is one of those where you listen a few times and make your decision.

I guess I could do that. Christalline is a good one though they have a good following. I mean company wise.

Agree with others than "Ambient" doesn't seem like the right choice of genre. Closer to Synthwave and it's various similar genres (chillwave/retrowave/etc.), although perhaps not quite fully in that genre.. but still that's the closest thing. Definitely a better track this time around than the last one you posted.

Also I will say, I continually struggle with figuring out what the hell genre my tracks belong to as well, but at the same time I suggest not to even worry about it. Just do what you think sounds great to you, and don't worry about trying to fit into a particular genre. I tend to take the lazy way out and just tag my songs as "electronic". I guess it will result in less people stumbling upon them, however.
