I don't think so. Maybe there are Plug-Ins used in the other version that aren't installed (anymore)??

did you change the logic x Skins theme ?

try to open termina copy the locations from the error and type sudo codesign -f -s - "Error Location"
    sudo codesign -f -s - /Applications/Logic Pro X.app/Contents/MacOS/Logic Pro X

Hi lads thanks for replies . I am relatively new to computers so unfortunatley i didn't understand the last post! (apologies).

I tried to get a more up to date version of logic from a well known site but got a couple of viruses for my troubles!

I think you can't open a file saved with a newer version... (If I understand the issue correctly)... But logic should advise you with a proper alert window!

Logic Pro X projects/sessions made from v10.0.0 to v10.0.7 will all work and save and open in any version from v10.0.0 to v10.0.7. For any version session made after v10.0.7, you will need a version after v10.0.7 to open it. you can take a session from v10.0.0 and up to the later/latest versions past v10.0.7, but you can't then open it back up in a Logic version previous to v10.0.7, as they made certain updates in Logic versions after v10.0.7

10.2.2 just went up on the sister site.

im a connoisseur of crash screens {a person who is especially competent to pass critical judgments in an art, particularly one of the fine arts, or in matters of taste} I only logged on to rate yours..
I give it a 7.2 for appearance 7.6 for virility and 8.6 for wtf
    overall 7.8
