hey man this config is cutting edge , don't skip on the memory , go with Corsair !!!

the video card is perfect for driving two monitors smooth. i've heard that nvidia drivers can give you cpu spikes, but on that nuclear i9 it probably wouldn't matter. if it's only audio production pc , i'd go with one huge monitor (27" or 32") and no video card. 22" monitor is pretty small real estate

Any perticular reason you favor Corsair before Aegis.... yeah I know.... Corsair do the job well, but do you have experience with Aegis?

it´s two 22" monitors not one.

Would swap out the power supply to 80+ Bronze (minimum).
Add a CPU cooler. be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 50.5 CFM CPU Cooler will ensure low CPU temperature.

If you are not in a hurry, Intel will be releasing their desktop 10th gen CPUs around March of 2020. Along with this will be Z490 motherboards. This will keep you in the upgrade path while offering newer tech & fixes for CPU security issues.

    Hey
Rorer what music do you make ?

I think in some Setups HDDs can work like a Champ .
And in some they are just to weak (film composing for example)

Right out i will say going Intel Z390 now is a dead end. No upgrade path, no pci4, only up to 8 cores. But if this is your prefered choice :
Aegis memory is fine - i 've installed it many times, no problems, works nicely on AMD boards too. I just think the 4x8gb config is kinda wrong. It should be 2x16gb so there's room for further expansion. Also, two sticks boot faster than four hehe.
What i don't understand is how all this costs 2000 euros man. My fast calc brought it around 1150-1200 without the monitors.
And these Samsung monitors are well out of circulation (2011 model), should i assume you already have these 2x 22" Samsungs from an older build?
Anyway let me know if your budget is indeed 2k euros mate,so i could propose yet another, slightly different build for you.
EDIT: Since i got no reply here's my 2000 euros build hehe:

Corsair Obsidian 450D Airflow -120 (Build quality, lots of room for expansion, cable management, silent operation)
Corsair RM750x 750w, 80+ Gold -----110 (Best in class PSU, 10 years warranty, ultra silent semi-passive design)
Gigabyte Z390 Designare -------------265 (Best in class VRM, dual Thunderbolt 3 ports)
    G.Skill Aegis 32GB (2x16) @3000mhz ----------------100 (Best budget ram @ 3000mhz)
Intel Core i9 - 9900KF --475 (Top mainstr. Intel cpu, strong single core performance, great all core turbo & OC)
CoolerMaster MasterLiquid ML240L RGB -------------55 (Best budget 2x120mm Liquid AIO, adequate cooling of 9900k in silent mode)
Sapphire Radeon RX 550 Pulse 4gb ---------85 (4gb ram, will do 4k, can be used as gpu accel for Premiere, Vegas)
    Intel 660p 2tb (x2) ----------------------- 420 (best budget nvme pciex4 SSD, 5 year warranty)
    AOC Q3279VWF, 2560x1440, 31.5", 75hz (x2) -- 370 (best budget QHD monitor, 75hz VA panel, rich customization, Freesync/Gsync)

    Total --------2000 euros :winker:

It's funny: myself and my colleagues, after many decades of playing our instruments (prior to the existance of DAWs), have never seen latency as 'a thing'; always 'played over' it!
When you consider the speed of sound (343 metres per second) and break that down to how far you are away from backline/stage-monitors/even the distance between your head and a piano, we are always having to play across latency anyway.

    Ok guys

My new computer/daw is nearly up running here! It´s fast, it´s smooth and I´ve actually got used to Win10.... it´s not that a challenge as I feared.

I have not encountered any major issues so far and I hope It´ll stay that way....... all installs works perfect.

So now: installing loads of libs, libs, libs........ from an external SSD HDD that´s also pretty fast.

If I got the ultimate setup for right price or not? ..... I dont really care as I see things works nearly perfectly here and that´s what matters.

BTW: Thanks for all your splended inputs - appriciated :like:
