    Hey everyone!

I’ve been diving back into Skyrim lately and can’t get over how unique each city and town feels. From the snowy streets of Windhelm to the bustling markets of Whiterun, there’s so much to explore. I’m curious—what are your favorite locations and why?

Do you love the cozy vibe of Riverwood, the mysterious atmosphere of Winterhold, or the rugged charm of Markarth? Are there any hidden gems or lesser-known spots you think deserve more attention?

If you’re into RPG game walkthroughs, which cities or towns do you think are the most rewarding to explore in detail?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Sad to say, I fell off after getting had up on that mountain searching for the Greybeards. I wasn't too into the whole dragon shout thing, but otherwise an amazing game. Think as I played Oblivion so hard, the wonderment of Skyrim wasn't as spectacular. Bit like GTA V after San Andreas for me. Still have the remastered special edition for PS4 (though I am on the 5 now), as I know how good it is. I always plan to go back in. I joke that it is one of the few games that you remember the street layout like a real place. I spent hours in Oblivion trying to hustle that weird little Glathir dude, thinking he was really trying to psychologically manipulate me. Ended up being forced to slay him as he got a little to antsy and I tried a number of times to reach a peaceful resolution. That skooma must have got to him! :)

All of that said, that little cozy town at the bottom of that mountain, not sure what it is called. Always comes to mind, when I think of it. Some woman leads you to the bottom of the mount and tells you which way to go, before doing the Dungeon Master on you and doing one.

Whiterun, if only to shop from seedy Belethor.
Though I never bought his sister.

It's been years since I played Skyrim, but now trying to recall, the most memorable ones are just the random ruins and similar you run into while dicking about the world.

For some reason the Dwemer ruins/cities/whatnot struck a chord with me, they felt truly ancient and alien. Sure, gameplaywise they were fairly dull, but I always love when I get that suspension of disbelief happening.

For all older readers, he is talking about a computer game and not a real city he visited. It's amazing how you can immerse yourself in a computer generated world. I like to go for walks and look at my real surroundings and enjoy real nature.

Windhelm. I really like the whole rough stone wall thing, narrow passages, very old school game design. Could use a bit less racism though.
